Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, she is an American comedian and TV personality most well-known as host for The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a family with a number of issues. Sheryl spent a large portion of her childhood caring for her sister Frankie and her polio-infected sister. She was in difficulties with her mother growing older. Sheryl states that her mother was once brutally beaten by her father over getting too close. Sheryl entered the military following her college graduation. Her passion was comedy. She was the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She started her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular participant during the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as an host on the T.V. program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began participating on The Talk as co-host. Furthermore, she's appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series such as Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
