SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi January 10, 1980) also known as Sarah Shahi is an American actress and former model. She portrayed Carmen on The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) as well as Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). She also played the character of Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as a well as in Alias in a supporting role. She was also a star in Reverie in the series Reverie, which premiered in 2018. She starred in a recurring part on City on a Hill on Showtime and in seven episodes on The Rookie as Jessica Russo the love interest of her. Shahi met Robert Altman while working as an actor in the show Dr. T and the Women of Texas. Altman encouraged Shahi to relocate to Hollywood where she was offered roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek as well as Reba and Supernatural. She played the second season's second-in-command for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales in The L Word in 2005. Shahi's contract , which ran for two years was ended following the fourth season. Her character was then deleted from the show.
