Rosie Perez

KimRosie Perez, born Rosa Maria Perez on September 6, 1964, is an American dancer and actress. Her breakout moment came with Tina's performance in Do the Right Thing (1989), and then White Men Can't Hop (1992). Perez's performance in Fearless (1993) brought her an nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in addition to other awards. Her film credits that have featured her since include It Could Happen to You (1994), The Road to El Dorado (2000), Pineapple Express (2008), and Birds of Prey (2020).Perez earned three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for In Living Color (1990-1994) and another Emmy nomination for her performance in The Flight Attendant (2020-present). She has also been in Broadway plays, such as The Ritz and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune and Fish in the Dark. In the 18th season of the show, she was a co-host on ABC's talk show The View. She was a student at Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood. [11] By 1999, her mother was living in poverty, in the Woodside Houses, when she passed away due to AIDS-related issues.
