Taylor Alison Swift was born December 13th, 1989. Her discography covers many genres. Swift's songwriting is often influenced by her personal life and received critical praise. Swift was born in West Reading and went to Nashville to be a country musician at the tender age of 14. She signed a songwriting and recording agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Her 2006 self-titled debut album made her the first female country singer to write an U.S. platinum-certified album. Swift's next album, Fearless (2008) was focused on country pop. Speak Now (2010) was her third album. The two first country tracks that reached the top of U.S. airplay charts were "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me". Red (2012) included her debut Billboard Hot 100 hit, "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together". 1989 (2014) saw her leave her country-oriented image. It was supported by the chart-topping "Shake It On", "Blank Space",and "Bad Blood". The skepticism of the media inspired her album Reputation (2017) as well as the album's number one single "Look What You Did to Me Do". Exiting Big Machine, Swift signed with Republic Records in 2018 and released her seventh studio album, Lover (2019), followed by the autobiographical documentary Miss Americana (2020). Swift delved into the realm of indie folk and alternative rock with her 2020 albums Folklore and Evermore, whose singles "Cardigan" as well as "Willow" topped the Hot 100. Twelve Grammy Awards including three Album of the Year nominations; an Emmy Award, 40 American Music Awards; 29 Billboard Music Awards. 92 Guinness World Records are just a few of her many accolades. Swift is included in many prestigious rankings, including Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Songswriters of All Time and Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists.
